Your support is essential. It helps us provide hands-on craft classes and workshops, and online workshops by exceptional artists. It also helps support scholarships – approximately half of all participants receive some assistance. Programs include youth and adult community classes, workshops, artist residencies, and outreach in neighboring communities and schools.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Ceramics Online Workshop Host:
We are excited to introduce a unique volunteer opportunity for our current and past online workshop students with experience in ceramics. The Online Workshop Host Program is designed to create a supportive, engaging environment for both workshop participants and instructors while providing a rewarding opportunity for volunteers.
We are seeking past or current online workshop students with experience in ceramics, who are tech-savvy and comfortable navigating virtual platforms like Zoom. Ideal candidates should be calm, composed, and enthusiastic about supporting and engaging with others in a virtual classroom setting. A strong and stable Wi-Fi connection is essential, and candidates must be available for 5-7 hours of contact time.
In recognition of your time and effort, you’ll receive complimentary tuition for an online workshop of the same length. This is a fantastic opportunity to continue exploring your craft, learning new skills, and connecting with fellow artists. Volunteer hosts will have live access to the workshop they are hosting as well as live and recorded access to an additional workshop of their choice. They will have one year to choose a complimentary workshop.
