Women’s Waterfowl Weekend 

with Georgann Eubanks & Sheryl McNair

January 31- February 1, 2020

A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the magnificent Atlantic Flyway migration of snow geese, tundra swans, many species of ducks and other wildlife. This fundraiser includes one night’s accommodations in Pocosin’s Riverside Lodge, roundtrip travel to Lake Mattamuskeet, a shrimp and grits feast, breakfast and much more. ABOUT GEORGANN:
Georgann Eubanks is board chair for Pocosin Arts and the author of the “Literary Trails” guidebook series from UNC Press. Her latest book is The Month of Their Ripening: North Carolina Heritage Foods through the Year.

ABOUT SHERYL:
Sheryl McNair has a life list of 1,700 birds – sightings gathered across many countries. She lives in Oriental and teaches a class in beginning birding at Pamlico Community College.

Sammy Cox is a board member at Pocosin Arts and a lifetime adventurer. He’s worked professionally in outdoor recreation and written numerous natural history articles. 

ABOUT BOB:
Bob Glennon has taken many groups to Mattamuskeet since his retirement from the U.S. Forest Service. Bob will share his vast knowledge about the area with participants.
