Alexis Spina has a BFA degree in studio art from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, with a concentration in jewelry/metalsmithing, and minors in printmaking and ceramics. In 2018 she obtained her MFA from The University of Georgia. Since 2017, she has been an assistant to Lola Brooks in her personal studio.
James grew up heavily artistically involved with drawing and painting, until taking a ceramics class for non-majors at Eastern Kentucky University as an undergrad. After becoming immersed in wanting to work with clay seriously, he acquired a BFA in ceramics from Eastern Kentucky University in 2012. After applying to graduate school and accepting an offer from Southern Illinois University, James moved to Carbondale and achieved a MFA in ceramics in 2017.
