In this workshop, participants will create jewelry using camera lenses. After dismantling a used camera lens and removing the lens inside, the lens will be coated. After that, frames that match the shape of the lenses will be made out of silver, and it will be made into jewelry.
Participants will learn not only about Kamata’s goldsmith techniques, but also about the potential of camera lenses, a glass material, as a piece of jewelry.
