The Virtual Passport Series is a bi-annual international lecture and workshop series, co-hosted by the Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG) and Pocosin Arts. Its goal is to connect the global maker community through learning, sharing, and networking. We are pleased to have the following artists joining us:

Cara and Caitlin Murphy – The Craft of Learning

Coming from a family deeply rooted in craft, Cara Murphy has been immersed in making, learning, and sharing skills throughout her career. In this lecture, Cara will discuss her evolving journey in silversmithing and enamelling. She will be joined by her daughter Caitlin, an award-winning metal artist, as they reflect on creativity, education, and the influence of craft across generations.

All of our online workshops are recorded and, with purchase of the seat in the class, students have access to the recording(s) between workshop sessions as well as for 60 days after the workshop ends.
