Join renowned silversmith and enamel artist Cara Murphy for an insight into her distinctive approach to enamelling three-dimensional silver bowls. This workshop focuses on wet-packing techniques, enamelling on silver, and understanding the relationship between form, colour, and firing. Through demonstrations and guided practical work, participants will explore the challenges and possibilities of working dimensionally while gaining a deeper understanding of Cara’s personal enamelling process and studio practice.

The Virtual Passport Series is a bi-annual international lecture and workshop series, co-hosted by the Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG) and Pocosin Arts. Its goal is to connect the global maker community through learning, sharing, and networking.

All of our online workshops are recorded and, with purchase of the seat in the class, students have access to the recording(s) between workshop sessions as well as for 60 days after the workshop ends.
