Explore synclastic forms, created with simple tools in this workshop. Synclastic surfaces curve toward the same side in all directions. We start with simple patterns to learn how the form can create elegant cuff bracelets. Soldering the ends of a metal strip together will then be formed into a bangle bracelet. Additional manipulation may be applied to achieve various design elements and details. Later, we will investigate how this form may create a small container with a soldered bottom.
