In this two-hour workshop ceramic artist and educator Luke Huling will walk viewers through the process of sculpting an anatomical head out of clay. Luke will discuss the technique of solid building (modeling) and the steps necessary to have successful results such as creating an armature, hallowing, and proper drying/firing times. Luke will place emphasis on proportions and how to showcase emotion and symbolism through a variety of facial gestures.

All of our online workshops are recorded and, with purchase of the seat in the class, students have access to the recording(s) between workshop sessions as well as for 60 days after the workshop ends.
