Slab Throwing with Pre-Decorated Slabs

In this virtual workshop, students will be introduced to the possibilities of slab throwing. Many tips and tricks will be shared to successfully combine throwing and slab building techniques to create functional forms. Participants will be shown the process of building a mug from start to finish using wheel thrown components and pre-decorated soft slabs. The instructor will also demonstrate how to layer colors of underglaze using Ez screenprints to create dynamic surfaces.
