Into The Weeds With Stencils

In this workshop, we will cover the basics of using digital die-cutting machines to create custom stencils. Students will be encouraged to explore the use of texture, layering, and negative space on clay surfaces using their custom stencils, slip applications, and post bisque fired techniques. Oliver will demonstrate how she uses hand building techniques for her functional pots, and how she applies her surfaces to achieve a high contrast finish.

Materials Fees for this workshop are estimated to be between $90-120. This does not include materials that may need to be purchased by the student prior to the workshop. Additional firing fees may apply. Additional clay is available for purchase.
