Sparkle & Shine: Beginner’s Enameling

Enameling is the exciting process of fusing glass to metal. With enameling, there is no need for setting stones, spray paints, or chemical patinas if you wish to cover the surface of your artwork in sparkling, vibrant color! Enjoy demonstrations of basic sifting and firing techniques, liquid enameling, embossing, watercolor enamels, sgraffito, graphite overlay, and simple foil applications. Leave this workshop with the skills and confidence to continue pursuing this craft when you return home.

Students can expect to spend $100 – $125 on materials provided by Pocosin or the instructor. This number is an estimate based on projected student usage, the final amount could be outside of this range.
