A Soft Spot

Design and build a wooden stool with an upholstered seat! In this course, we will learn a variety of woodworking techniques, including the safe use of machine and hand tools, cutting and shaping wood, and mortise and tenon joinery. Additionally, we will learn about slip-seat upholstery and upholstering on the frame. This course welcomes participants of all skill levels, providing a nurturing environment for everyone to grow and learn. And we will also have fun!

Materials Fees for this workshop are estimated to be between $100-130. This does not include materials that may need to be purchased by the student prior to the workshop. Additional wood will be available for purchase by the board foot.
