Words and Images

We will make images that inspire writing, writing that inspires images, and create work that can combine the two. We will have daily writing exercises/discussions and teach simple printmaking techniques using plexiglass and commercial synthetic gelatin printing plates. Students will be encouraged to collage, cut, draw, and work back into prints. Formats include simple book structures and one-of-a-kind pieces.

Materials Fees for this workshop are estimated to be between $60-90. This does not include materials that may need to be purchased by the student prior to the workshop.
