No Skills Required
June 28 - July 2, 2027

Felting Wool Landscapes

Learn the ancient craft of felt making while exploring its painterly possibilities. We’ll begin with the fundamentals of both wet-felting and needle-felting, creating sample pieces to get comfortable with each technique. From there, we’ll combine these approaches to create two wool landscapes (12″x16″ and 18″x24″) reflecting your own creative vision. Along the way, we’ll consider design principles such as color theory and composition and discover how felt can expand traditional ideas of landscape art.

Students can expect to spend $80 – $100 on materials provided by Pocosin or the instructor. This number is an estimate based on projected student usage, the final amount could be outside of this range.
