Want to install a kiln at your home? Having glaze firing issues? Intimidated by all the kiln options out there? Over this three hour class, we will cover the broad range of electric kiln basics. We will approach this from a true beginner’s viewpoint giving you all the necessary tools to fire your own kiln with confidence. We’ll cover basic maintenance, common pitfalls, and important clay-glaze-heat related chemistry. Open to all interested students.



All of our online workshops are recorded and, with purchase of the seat in the class, you have access to the recording(s) between workshop sessions as well as for 45 days after the workshop ends.

Ben Eberle

Ben Eberle is a potter, kiln builder, and ceramic educator from Conway, MA. His career in ceramics began in his teenage years, taking him to Skidmore College and San Jose State University for his degrees.
