In this online workshop, Martha Grover will present all of the steps on how she uses a combination of spraying and dipping glazes to achieve her surfaces. This lesson is suitable for potters of all skill levels and is a great introduction to Martha’s style of layering glazing. Martha will be working with a cone 10 Grolleg porcelain, but her techniques can be used with any clay body and firing temperature. Martha’s glaze recipes for both cone 10 and 6 will be provided.

Martha Grover is a functional potter, living in Bethel Maine, creating thrown and altered porcelain pieces. She attended Bennington College in Vermont, where she received her undergraduate degree in Architecture. Martha received her MFA in ceramics from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
