The workshop will explore how to add richness to enameled pieces through the introduction of rust. We will work on steel with liquid enamels and look at forming, texturing and mark-making techniques and the tools and implements to use.  Firing techniques will include kiln and gas torch firing. After firing you will learn different ways to rub back the surface ready for rusting. Different means of rusting will be demonstrated. Finally, some cheats using copper will be shown.
