May 18 & 25, 2024 10:00 am - 12:00 pm View in Your Timezone

The workshop will explore how you can degrade enamelled surfaces to create subtlety in texture and tone and how to enhance your enamelled steel pieces with the introduction of rusted elements. The emphasis is on experimentation and breaking the rules. It will cover the different steels available, applying liquid enamels and the different tools for mark-making. Fired surfaces will be abraded and rusting processes explored. Finally, finishing, findings and attachments will be discussed.

All of our online workshops are recorded and, with purchase of the seat in the class, you have access to the recording(s) between workshop sessions as well as for 45 days after the workshop ends.
