Join Zoë on an exploration of red clay surfaces using underglazes, terra sigillata, and glazes on leatherhard clay. In her class, she will discuss the steps of handbuilding a form, the development of illustrative surfaces, how to take advantage of depth, tactility, and 3D elements in clay, as well as decorative glaze application on leatherhard and bisqued forms. Zoë will also discuss promoting small atmosphere effects on earthenware in an electric kiln, as she does with her surfaces.

All of our online workshops are recorded and, with purchase of the seat in the class, you have access to the recording(s) between workshop sessions as well as for 45 days after the workshop ends.
