Come learn about firing earthenware in the soda kiln! You’ll learn the basics so that you too can fire a soda kiln from start to finish. He’ll be sharing some of his favorite recipes for slip, glaze, and wadding as well as techniques for loading the kiln and finishing your pieces. Last but not least, he’ll cover preparing and applying the decals on your fired pieces.


Some experience required:

Basic knowledge of the pottery-making process is recommended.

All of our online workshops are recorded and, with purchase of the seat in the class, you have access to the recording(s) between workshop sessions as well as for 45 days after the workshop ends.
