Explore innovative approaches to jewelry and small object making through the use of concrete, cement, and contemporary fabrication techniques. Students will learn how to incorporate color pigments and dyes into cement-based materials to create vibrant, one-of-a-kind pieces while developing an understanding of material properties, casting methods, and finishing techniques.

The workshop will cover simple mold-making processes, including the use of 3D-printed forms and patterns for creating custom molds. Through demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and individual exploration, participants will design and fabricate unique wearable and sculptural objects while expanding their creative approach to material use.

Open to all skill levels. No prior experience with concrete, mold making, or 3D printing is required.

All of our online workshops are recorded and, with purchase of the seat in the class, students have access to the recording(s) between workshop sessions as well as for 60 days after the workshop ends.
