It can be tricky to high-fire complex or fragile pieces, especially in an atmospheric kiln! In this class, Marissa will go over how to construct a wall-hanging candelabra.  Students will start by learning how to break down a complex form into smaller, more manageable segments. Marissa will share how she makes and applies various textures while walking students through the slab-building process. Students will also learn about sculpting floral embellishments off of a mold, adding decoration to hide attachments, and how to assemble the candelabra post-firing.

All of our online workshops are recorded and, with purchase of the seat in the class, you have access to the recording(s) between workshop sessions as well as for 45 days after the workshop ends.
