Unlock the design potential of patterns and images around you! René will demystify
Photoshop and make it accessible and fun, even for total beginners. Starting with original
drawings and photos, she’ll teach you how to create black-and-white designs that you can
use for Cricut stencils, etching, roll printing, silkscreens, and decals. René gives clear
explanations in non-technical terms and will provide you with generous handouts to assist
you after the class has ended. This is a comprehensive beginning class but intermediate
students will also gain essential skills. Afterward, you’ll have a good foundation to explore
many new design possibilities for your work.

Beginning with Week 2, time will be set aside during class to give students personal help with their projects via the Zoom screen sharing feature. René will also create a private Facebook page to answer questions between sessions.
