In this virtual lecture, William Vanaria will discuss the ins and outs of tools and equipment used in the jewelry studio. Some of the major talking points include: what tools/equipment to prioritize buying, specific tool/equipment recommendations, how to buy used equipment, caring for and maintaining your tools/equipment, considerations when setting up a jewelry making workspace, and more.




All of our online workshops are recorded and, with purchase of the seat in the class, you have access to the recording(s) between workshop sessions as well as for 45 days after the workshop ends.

William Vanaria

William Vanaria received his BFA from MassART in 2012 majoring in “Jewelry & Metalsmithing.” He then received a MFA from UMass: Dartmouth in 2016, majoring in “Metals/Jewelry.” Since then, William has worked as an educator for various institutions as well as a jeweler and polishing specialist.
