Pocosin Arts Turns 25 This year! Help Us Celebrate with these spcial Events.

Pocosin Arts School of Fine Craft was created by founder Feather Phillips in 1994.  This year marks Pocosin’s 25th anniversary. Help us celebrate with these special events.

Pocosin Waterfowl Weekend

January 19-20, 2019

This 25th anniversary fundraiser for Pocosin Arts includes one night’s accommodations at our Riverside Lodge, roundtrip travel to Pungo Lake and D-Canal to see the once-in-a-lifetime magnificent Atlantic Flyway migration. Event includes all meals, travel and talks by UNC’s Tom Earnhardt and author Georgann Eubanks.

Solatido Singer/Songwriters Workshop 

March  28-31, 2019

Come retreat at Pocosin Arts and bring a writing project– songs, stories, memoir, fiction, poems.  You’ll be in the company of other creative writers and song-makers. Together you will share meals, writing prompts and creativity. The weekend with conclude with a local performance.

5K Turtle County Run 

May 18, 2018

Celebrate life on the Scuppernong River will treaking through a 5K scenic run through Columbia, NC. Proceeds from the event will go towards Pocosin Arts’ local programming. Lodging before and after the event is also availabe. More information to come!
