Sylvie Lissa Alusitz

Sylvie Alusitz is a metalsmith, curator, and educator based in Arizona. She explores the relationships we have to people and place, and is strongly influenced by the basketry and textile communities. She received her MFA from SUNY New Paltz and a BFA from RIT. Sylvie has exhibited her work nationally and internationally, including Autor Contemporary Jewelry Fair, Gallery 2052,, and others. Past residencies include Penland School of Craft and Harbourfront Centre in Toronto, Canada.
