Stuart Kestenbaum is the author of six books of poetry, most recently Things Seemed to Be Breaking (Deerbrook Editions 2021) and a book of essays The View from Here (Brynmorgen Press). He has taught workshops and been a visiting writer at art programs including Haystack, Penland School of Crafts, Cranbrook Academy of Art, Rhode Island School of Design, and Penn State. He’s the host/curator of the podcasts Make/Time and Voices of the Future and was Maine’s poet laureate from 2016-2021.
