Richard W. James is an assistant professor of ceramics at Miami University, Oxford OH. He has held artist in resident positions at The Archie Bray Foundation and Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts. Richard has been the recipient of numerous awards including the 2016 Sculpture Magazine Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Award, 2019 James Renwick Alliance Chrysalis Award and 2016 Ceramics Monthly Emerging Artist.
