Marilyn da Silva

Marilyn da Silva’s work is based on telling stories through imagery and representational elements. Her trademark surface treatment of gesso and colored pencil creates a rich palette for her sculpture and wearable pieces.Her work has been displayed nationally and internationally.

Marilyn is a professor in the Jewelry/Metal Arts program at California College of the Arts. She is a Montgomery Fellow at Dartmouth College. She received the Master of the Medium Award 2017 from the James Renwick Alliance. She is a Fellow of the American Craft Council and was
“Master Metalsmith 1999” at the National Ornamental Metal Museum in Memphis, Tennessee.
