Lorena grew up in Mexico amongst the beautiful and traditional Mexican Folk Art that inspires her body of work. Her work has been featured in books, magazines and gallery exhibitions in the USA and Europe. Lorena is the author of a book called Behind the Brooch published in May 2014 by Schiffer Publishing. In 2023 the Racine Art Museum bought two pieces of Lorena Angulo’s jewelry for their permanent collection through a craft acquisition received from the Windgate Foundation.
