Katie Maloney

Katie Maloney creates animal sculptures and vessels at a home studio in Southeast Virginia. She started in clay as an assistant to potter Elizabeth Krome in high school then received her B.A in ceramics at Guilford College. Katie participated in artist-in-residence programs including STARworks Ceramics and has taught workshops at various institutions including Peters Valley School of Craft. Her work is exhibited nationally at galleries and fine art shows such as the Smithsonian Craft Show.
