Jamie Bennett

Jamie Bennett is Professor Emeritus of the SUNY New Paltz, where he headed the Metal/Jewelry Program from 1986 to 2014. He has received many awards including the Aileen Osborn Webb Award from the American Crafts Council, an NEA Fellowship, and New York Foundation for the Arts, the James Renwick Alliance’s Outstanding Educator Award, and the SNAG Lifetime Achievement Award. His work is in the permanent collection of over twenty-five museums internationally. Recent solo exhibitions were hosted by the Maurer/Zilioli Contemporary Arts in Munich, and Galerie Mazlo in Paris.
