Bill Jones

Bill Jones is a studio potter working in Western North Carolina. His work pulls heavily from languages of traditional functional pottery while also focusing on the sculptural potential of clay. He studied architecture at university and got his start with clay at craft schools, eventually moving to North Carolina for a formal apprenticeship. Since then, Bill has established his own studio, held several artist in residence positions and traveled extensively teaching and selling his work.
