Akiceri Alejandra Carrillo-Estrada

Alejandra Carrillo-Estrada, is a multidisciplinary artist from the U.S.-Mexico border. With a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Texas at El Paso, she has exhibited her work nationally and internationally. Her commitment to addressing issues of racial and social justice has only been strengthened by her return to the border, where she currently teaches design and metals jewelry at UTEP.
