COVID-19

COVID-19 Update

Pocosin Arts’ campus is temporarily closed to the public until further notice. We based this decision on the governor’s orders and efforts to help keep everyone healthy and safe. Currently, we are planning to follow through with our summer workshops beginning in June. However, without the ability to predict the future, we have created the following cancellation schedule.

Sessions 6-8: by April 28

Sessions 9-11: by May 29

Sessions 12-13: by June 26

Session 14: by August 3

Session 15: by August 28

Session 16: by September 4

Our updated cancellation policy is as follows: If you cancel twenty-one days or more before the beginning of a workshop, you will receive a full refund, including registration fees.  If you cancel less than twenty-one days before the start of the workshop, there is no refund. Pocosin Arts cannot be responsible for nonrefundable airline tickets.  If Pocosin Arts cancels a workshop due to COVID-19 or any other reason, students will receive a full refund, including registration fees

We will continue to monitor the situation and will make a decision about community classes following the below schedule:

For our Summer Youth Programs: by May 22

For our Summer Community Classes: by May 29

We will continue to answer questions by phone or email, so please don’t hesitate to contact us. During this pause, we will be providing weekly creative activities to Tyrrell county students on Fridays in collaboration with the Tyrrell County school system and posting weekly video demonstrations led by our community class instructors/artists: Mark Arnold, Zachery Lechtenberg, TaeHyun Bang, Dick Heiser, and other special guest artists. These demonstrations can be found on  OUR LINK HERE  Instagram: @pocosinarts Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pocosinarts/ YouTube Channel: Pocosin Arts
