This five week ceramic course is designed to be an open studio for adults. Students should come in with ideas of what they want to explore, make and design while in the class using handbuilding and wheel throwing techniques. Resident Artist, Jen Dwyer, will be there to assist students with their project and will provide a variety of demos that cater to these specific projects. Some prior clay experience is preferred but not required.
In this survey class we will experiment with various techniques, tools and metals. You will learn how to add texture, cut, cold connect, solder, and finish metal to create both samples and finished pieces. Beginners welcome.
