Art After School

Class Meets On Tuesdays | 3:30p – 5:30p

Art After School is an opportunity for youth to learn from our Artists in Residence.  We offer classes based on age group, ranging from ceramics, jewelry/metals, drawing, sculpting, drawing, painting, or mixed-media.  Each class is designed for students of all experience levels.  All of our courses are hands on, students learning to create work with their hands.  Parents and Guardians should note that some classes are more involved and it is sometimes unavoidable for materials to get onto clothing.  But when it does, it just means that your youth is learning and really enjoying the process!

If your child attends a Tyrrell County School, the local bus will drop the student off at Pocosin Arts after school lets out for the day. You will just need to come by the studios for pick up at 5:30 p.m.  Please contact the school and let them know your child will be attending class at Pocosin, so they know which bus to use.
